No sleeps to go!

Today we are off on our overseas adventure!

Lots to do so no more news than that, except to say I am excited and scared. I have realised (belatedly, of course) that I really do NOT like flying. So I'll be drugged up to the eyeballs on phenergan ...

OK, out of bed now, into shower, take car to Paraparaumu for some recall repair, home on the train, complete last minute packing, clean out fridge, throw some baking soda into the washing machine to give it a clean out, get my hair cut, breathe, do some finishing off work typing up the info from our Lessons Learned workshop held on Tuesday, send it off to the team, breathe and head to Paraparaumu Airport with Bruce and Gary, then fly to Auckland to wait for several hours until we find out if the upgrade request to Business Class has been granted, and then fly away to Singapore and thence to LHR. Trying to stay breathing calmly all the way.

See you on the other side of the world!

Enjoy your flights over, and before you know it, you will be back on the narrow boat. Then the adventures will begin again - and we will happily "read all about it".

Thank you, Jenny and Robin.
Only 27 hours of travelling, from when we leave NZ to arriving at London Heathrow. if I say it fast, it's not much at all ...

You are probably here by now! I hope all went well and that you have a fabulous UK summer afloat - one day we will be at the same place at the same time, rather than ships that pass by! Jennie, nb Tentatrice
